This week, the surname I am looking at is Danyell. The only ancestor with this surname is Joana Danyell (or Danyall).
My line is:

3. Edith Jean Marr (1922-1990)
4. John Ernest Whimpey (1884-1960)
5. Ivy May Harley (1890-1959)

128. John Whimpey (1710-1780)
129. Susanna Curtis (1720-1794)

513. Ann (surname unknown) (1650-1710)
1024. Thomas Whimpey (1620-1674)
1025. Fortune Draper (1620-?)
2048. Thomas Whimpey (1579-?)
2049. Joan ANTROM
4096. John Whimpey (ca 1540-1588)
4097. Joana Danyell (ca. 1540-?)
Since Joana would have been born before parish registers were first kept, I have no information about her birth. I have also not been able to find a burial entry for her, so at the moment, the only information I have is her marriage to Johes (John) Wimpewe (Wimpey) on 28 August 1566 at St John the Baptist Parish, in Frome, Somerset, England.
* Although the surname Whimpey is spelled in a number of different ways on the parish registers, I have used the spelling Whimpey throughout my database, as this is the spelling used most consistently since the early 1800s by the descendants of John Whimpey (Wimpey) and Susanna Curtis.
